Dai Yi joined SAIF as an Associate in 2010. Yi worked earlier at New Hope Capital as Senior Associate. Prior to his investment career, he worked mainly on mobile technology side; started as Sr. Engineer and Marketing Manager at Datang Mobile; and after that as General Manager of Greater China at VoiceSignal Technologies (USA) SH representative office.

Yi graduated from Zhejiang University with a Bachelor degree in electric engineering 2001. He obtained his Masters degree in mobile communications from University of Surrey (UK) in 2002.
